Party Pizza Recipe

This miniature take on a pizza will be the first thing the guests reach for at your next party. A mixture of ground beef and sausage gets kicked up a notch with hints of red pepper and the flavor of oregano, garlic and onion. The creamy cheese balances it all out and the mixture fits perfectly on top of crispy rye bread. You can’t eat just one. Party Pizza Recipe
  • 1 lb hot Italian Sausage
  • 1 lb E3 90/10 ground beef
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp red pepper flakes (more or less depending on your heat preference)
  • 1 loaf of cocktail rye bread
  1. Brown the sausage and ground beef in a medium skillet. Drain. Add in the velvetta (cut into chunks) and cook over low heat until the cheese is melted. Add seasonings and spread a heaping spoonful of the mixture onto the individual rye breads. Bake at 400 until bubbly.
